We love the French way of life and we want you to love it too, therefore we aim to make sure you have the best possible time during your stay. With great attention to detail our Gites have been lovingly restored and maintained and provide everything necessary for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. We have spent eight years in France working and running our Gites so we are well placed to provide you with accurate and up-to-date information about the region.
Inside
All the gîtes at La Cahudière have been designed to combine traditional features with modern comfort living. They offer constant hot water for bathing and showering and the kitchen. The Gites have French electric sockets. Each gîte is insulated and double glazed (where possible) to ensure cool rooms in summer and warm in winter.
The kitchens have electric fridges, freezing facilities and gas cookers (stove and oven) and a full set of cleaning equipment, crockery, cookware and utensils. The Gites also also equipped with dishwashers.
Each gîte has a video/DVD player and private furnished outdoor area. We also have a private Video and DVD library at your disposal.
Duvets, pillows and mattress covers are provided as standard, while sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers (all required) can be hired at an additional charge. Please note that towels are not provided. Cots, highchairs, baby baths and safety gates are all available on request free of charge.
Shared facilities include a laundry area with automatic washing machine, dryer, irons and ironing boards. There is a telephone on site for emergency use.
Outside
Each Gite has its own private fully equipped patio area, with dining facilities, sunloungers and BBQs.
The Pool
Our shared open air heated swimming pool is 7m x 3.5m and is surrounded by an attractive decked area so that you can relax around the pool as well as on your terrace. The pool is normally available between the end of May and the end of September. If you are interested in exclusive use of the pool or want it available at any other time please ask us about it.
Everyone is free to enjoy the gardens and land around the house.
Check-in on arrival is between 1600 and 2100 hrs local time. Check-out is 1000 hrs on the day of departure, unless by prior agreement.
